Ornithology: Getting Started

This guide identifies reference works, other library resources, key classic books and major Internet sites for studies on birds.

General Information

Ornithology is a branch of zoology which focuses on the scientific study of birds.  This guide will highlight some resources available from NSU Libraries on this subject, including books, ebooks, ejournals, online databases, websites, and more.

If you see an embargo next to a e-journal title: An embargo period is a period of time which an official academic publication is not yet available online, either due to publishing restrictions or subscription contracts.  Ex: "Embargo: 1 Year" = access begins one year ago from today's date.
