The Spanish Film Series at Nova Southeastern University was made possible through the generous support of Alvin Sherman Library and Halmos College of Arts & Sciences, as well as Pragda, The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Spain, and SPAIN arts & cultures and our other partners and sponsors.
The Film Series is based on the Spanish Film Club, an initiative by PRAGDA, which offers grants twice a year to help high schools and universities bring the very best in contemporary Spanish and Latin American cinema to campuses with the aim of introducing students to the language and cultures of these territories. More than 100 schools have participated in the program so far.
