Mission
Provide a collaborative approach for supporting education, research, and patient care services across the spectrum of Florida’s academic university schools of medicine.
Vision
Harness the strength of academic libraries in the State of Florida that support university medical schools (MD or DO) to cooperatively facilitate the access of information to health care providers and the citizens of Florida to improve health and wellness.
Goals
Work to conserve funds and eliminate duplication by identifying areas of active collaboration:
• Collaborative collection development
• Collaborative development of instructional resources
• Collaborative consumer health
• Collaborative continuity of service planning (mutual aid agreement)
• Be good stewards of the resources provided to accomplish our mission
