APA Style Guide to Electronic Resources
This is addendum to the Publication Manual (6th ed.) provides more guidance for formatting electronic references in APA style.
APA requires the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for electronic journal articles and other electronic resources. If the DOI is not printed on the article, use the DOI Finder to check if there is a DOI for the article. Note: Some articles, especially older articles, will not have a DOI.
