RAZG 1490 Global Engagement - Course Description

This course examines the overall concept of global engagement as it pertains to the key global leadership trends, behaviors, and competencies needed to become an integrated global leader, function as part of a global team with a purpose and understand the different elements of global engagement for a productive global society.  Students will analyze their own cultural frameworks to understand how they interact in today’s global society, and they will develop a personal global engagement plan. 

Learning Outcomes:
1: Analyze and interpret material related to a broad range of global engagement issues.

2: Examine critical components of effective international leadership in the global culture of change.

3: Frame state level issues in a broader global context.

4: Emphasize and communicate effectively with people from other cultures and societies participating in relevant projects and events.

5: Formulate a personal global engagement plan that reflects best practices of international/global leadership presented in this course.
