Florida Rules of Discovery
In the Florida Courts, the rules of discovery are governed by Florida Rule of Criminal Procedure Rule 3.220. Discovery. This Rule outlines discovery obligations of both prosecution and defense ("what must be produced?"), time restrictions ("when is it due?"), notice and demand ("how do I request evidence?"), and procedures for depositions (how may I obtain a sworn statement from a witness?").
