NSU Oceanographic Campus Library Hardware Resources: A/V Items

General Information

The Oceanographic Campus Library offers access to six A/V items:  an in-house A/V system, a portable projector, a wireless projector, a digital underwater camera, and 3 GoPros.  See each tab for information on how you can access these items.

Due to the low number and high demand of the research hardware we have available for the Halmos College programs, we are only able to check out these items to those patrons at this time.

A/V System and Projectors

The A/V system was donated by Ann Porterfield in 2014 as part of a technology enhancement donation to the NSU Oceanographic Campus Library.  It is available for teachers who wish to organize workshops and training sessions, as well as for students who wish to practice their presentations.  Workshops and training presentations should be organized with Library staff.  Students may practice their presentations on a first-come, first-serve basis Mondays and Tuesdays from 6-8pm and Saturdays 10am-6pm.

The A/V system includes:

  • 90" Sharp LC-90LE657U HD Smart TV
  • PC with Windows 7 Enterprise (64 bit)
  • Blu-Ray Player
  • Apple TV
  • Wireless Keyboard
  • Adjacent Dry Erase Board
