NSU Oceanographic Campus Library Hardware Resources: Computer Stations

General Information

The Oceanographic Campus Library offers access to 10 computer stations.  Six are designated for standard computing, two are designated for multimedia computing, and two are designated for long-term computing.

Computer Stations

Stations 1-3 and 5-7 are designated for standard computing needs.  All these computers use Windows Enterprise 10 (64 bit).

Standard 1-3

  Stations 5-7

Stations 4 and 8 are high-powered stations donated by Ann Porterfield in December 2018 as part of a technology enhancement donation to the NSU Oceanographic Campus Library.  These stations are designated for multimedia needs.  They are more powerful stations that possess access to Adobe Creative Cloud software.  Both of these computers use Windows Enterprise 10 (64 bit).

Media Station 8

Stations 9 and 10 are designated for long-term computing needs.  Use these computers if you intend to run programs that may span more than one day.  Please inform library staff if you are using these computers for long-term testing so that library staff can take precautions to help preserve your work.  Both of these computers use Windows Enterprise 10 (64 bit).
