UNIV 1000 First Year Experience

Library Resources

Did you know the NSU Libraries provide resources beyond books and journal articles for your class assignments? You can borrow an eBook or audiobook from cloudLIbrary to read over summer break. Or borrow a videogame or DVD to enjoy on the weekend. You can even find local, national, and international newspaper articles.

Video Games, Ebooks, & Audiobooks

To borrow a video game from the library, all you need is your SharkCard! You can search for a specific game in the catalog by limiting your search to "Video Game" or browse in person on the first floor. The games are shelved by console generation.

Students can check out 5 games at a time for 14 days, with the ability to renew each game once for 7 more days.

Logos for Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo consoles.

Can't come to the library? No problem. Download the free cloudLibrary app from your device's app store to read ebooks or listen to audiobooks. In the app, browse the featured books, new releases, popular titles, or search your favorite genres.
