Get Involved at the Alvin Sherman Library

Teens between the ages of 13-18 can earn service hours at the Alvin Sherman Library!

In order to become a Teen Volunteer, you can:

1) Sign up for our Virtual Teen Advisory Board

Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group that helps librarians with projects in a virtual environment and offers insight into teen programs, collections, and services. Participants earn hours for simply attending and participating in the virtual meetings.

2) Volunteer In Person

In-person volunteer opportunities are offered every week as well as for special programs where we need additional staff and help.

You can also contact the Young Adult Librarian, Ruth Shaw (pshaw1@nova.edu), if you have any additional questions!
