Conference Proceedings

Information from conferences can be tricky to locate.  Some information may be on conference websites while other conferences disseminate the information in journal supplement issues. 

Research Databases

Web of Science

Embase

These two databases include records for individual conference presentations including poster presentations.  

Conference Websites

Identify relevant conferences

  • Search for conference information on the Internet (Locate the organization/association that sponsored the conference)
  • Browse the website to determine how the conference proceedings were disseminated. It may be freely available on the website.
  • If the conference information was published in a journal, determine the journal name/year/volume/issue
  • Go to the library's website to check electronic availability of the journal
