Assignment 4 Commitment to Self-Improvement - Areas of Excellence

The rubric for this assignment is located below; however, please refer to your specific faculty member’s expectations and grading. (For complete assignment directions, please refer to your Canvas course)

Summary of Assignment

Leadership, communication, and technology will be continually infused in aspects of your academic and professional life. As you progress along your chosen career path, it is likely that you will increase your skills in these areas; however, the development will also require thoughtfulness so that you can remain current and achieve continuous improvement. Concrete planning, being proactive, and reviewing all details will allow you to achieve the greatest benefits as a direct result of your focus, attention, and efforts. In addition, this will help you to work well ahead in order to submit your required document prior to the due date and/or deadline.

For this assignment four, you will write a self-improvement plan in first person in the Areas of Excellence (i.e., your successes in life) that you possess and care to show even more growth, as we can improve upon our successes as well. In the Introduction, you will begin with sharing any information about your goalsmotivations, and more to include your vision in life. Keep in mind that this document will continuously transform as you further your degree and career.

In the Areas of Excellence, define your current strengths in the areas of -

leadership,

communication, and

technology (2-3 strengths in each category).

Highlight your strengths as Areas of Excellence and provide a detailed example of how you have utilized these strengths in a professional setting. Please conduct research in order to select, complete, and analyze at least 9 surveys in these three areas to assist you in your writings. You must select 3 surveys in leadership, 3 surveys in communication, and 3 surveys in technology. Your faculty member will upload many surveys in the Modules link on your Canvas page. You will pick one of the available surveys for each category in the Modules (one survey in leadership, one survey in communication, and one survey in communication). However, as a researcher, you must conduct your own research regarding the remaining two surveys for each category, as you need a total of three surveys for each category. That stated, you will still need to find a total of 6 surveys on your own (2 in leadership, 2 in communication, and 2 in technology).
