Quiet Study Spaces

The fourth floor provides additional tables, chairs, and individual study carrels for quiet study. Group study is not permitted in this area.

Please take all phone calls in the designated "Cell Phone Zone" in the hallways by the restrooms. 

Browse Library Materials

library booksThe fourth floor has additional movable shelving to browse library materials, which are available to check out with your SharkCard.

Books on the fourth floor have PQ - Z call numbers. Topics of interest on the fourth floor include novels, classic literature, and cookbooks. 

Print journals and some dissertations are also located on the fourth floor. These items are not available to check out and must be used inside the library.

Studying off campus? Many library books are available as e-books and most print materials may be shipped via Document Delivery.

Writing and Communication Center

The NSU Write from the Start Writing and Communication Center (WCC) is an innovative workspace where students, consultants, and faculty come together to talk about writing and communication.

Staffed by trained professional and peer writing consultants, the WCC offers individualized writing and communication assistance to all NSU students. The WCC works with students on all types of academic writing and communication projects at any stage of the writing process, from brainstorming to editing.

NSU Archives

NSU campus circa 1960The NSU Archives is located on the southeast corner of the fourth floor. It serves as the institutional memory of Nova Southeastern University by collecting, organizing, and preserving materials with historic value, including photographs, memorabilia, and personal documents.
