The NSU Write from the Start Writing and Communication Center (WCC) is an innovative workspace where students, consultants, and faculty come together, in person and online, to talk about writing and communication.
For students
WCC consultants can offer individualized assistance through one-on-one sessions. Consultants will discuss your assignments, listen to your ideas, ask you questions, talk about writing strategies, offer constructive feedback, and strengthen your writing and communication habits.
The WCC hosts or participates in a number of events throughout the year - Dissertation Boot Camps, and Discipline- and Profession-Specific Writing Retreats, Weekly Write-Ins, Wikipedia Edit-a-thon.
The NSU Write from the Start Writing and Communication Center (WCC) offers workshops for students and faculty designed to improve their writing and introduce them to innovative pedagogies and technologies. Workshops are currently held when requested by faculty and student groups.
