UNPUBLISHED INTERVIEWS AND PERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS

These do not need a full reference listed entry, but rather just an in-text citation using the terms personal communication (or pers. comm.), unpublished data, and the like used after the name.

LEGAL DOCUMENTS

Legal documents and their citations are not actually described in CMS, but they adopt the citation styles from one of two different books, The Bluebook and the ALWD Citation Manual.  The BlueBook is the most popular form.  The Chicago Law Review has devised a "watered-down" version of the BlueBook that they have named the MaroonBook.  A copy of the book is found here.
