Description:
This course covers issues in human development that are especially relevant to children and adolescents, beginning with the earliest aspects of development during the prenatal period and ending with the final phase of transition from adolescence into adulthood. Topics in this course include primary theories of development and critical factors that influence child and adolescent development including family/social relationships; ethnic/cultural factors; and biological, cognitive, and individual factors.
