The Alvin Sherman Library's Family Study Room is open for use by parents/guardians accompanied by children and is available by reservation.
Hours
The Family Study Room is open during the Alvin Sherman Library hours (*Circulation Desk):
- Mon - Thurs: 7:00am - 10:30pm
- Friday: 7:00am - 8:30pm
- Saturday: 7:00am - 7:00pm
- Sunday: 10:00am - 10:30pm
*Room key(s) must be returned to the Circulation Desk 30-minutes prior to the Circulation Desk closing.
Reserve the Family Study Room

- Only eligible to current NSU Shark cardholders or Alvin Sherman Library cardholders
- All reservations require confirmation by email within 15 minutes of submitting the request
- Cancelations must be made one hour to the start of the reservation
- After a 15 minute grace period your room reservation is subject to cancelation due to no show

The Family Study Room provides:
- Seating for 10 people.
- A monitor with a HDMI cable to enable screen sharing.
*Children Kits are available for use in the Family Study Room and can be checked out at the Circulation Desk.
