code: a computer programming language used to instruct a computer to do specific actions

command: instruction for a computer

sequence: an order of events

conditonal statement: an if/then statement, used to create an exception to a rule

function: a block of code made up of a set of steps that you can easily call over and over again

loop: a command used to repeat a part of code

bug: an error in a program that prevents the program from running as expected
