- Sign up your School for ProQuest ETD Admin Account/PortalSign Up Your Institution: Use the form in the link to provide the information required to set up your ETD Administrator site, so you can begin submitting dissertations and theses to ProQuest/UMI for publishing. After receiving this form, ProQuest will work with you to set up your customized ETD site, and will provide training and technical support to help you get started.

Steps to Creating ETD Administrator Sites @ NSU
- New Program Review at NSUThe only University guidelines in place relate to Ph.D dissertations. These can be viewed on the New Program Review Committee's web page found in Appendix F. These guidelines require that the product be bound and submitted to Dissertation Abstracts, with copies submitted to several offices, including the library. Master's thesis and professional dissertation, i.e. DBA, requirements are regulated at the academic unit's level and vary significantly. Customization Forms
When completing ProQuest customization form, must include this text on IR customization form in section giving instructions to students on choosing embargos (p.3):
Author agrees that the Work be placed in NSU Works, NSU's institutional repository, with the following status (CHOOSE ONE OPTION):
- Open Access Publishing: Author authorizes immediate worldwide open access to the electronic full text of the Work through the NSU Libraries and NSU.
- Open Access Publishing with Embargo (restricted access) – Six Months
- Open Access Publishing with Embargo (restricted access) – One Year
- Open Access Publishing with Embargo (restricted access) – Two Years
