IDEA Labs

The library provides access to modern technologies which support 3D scanning and prototyping, virtual reality hardware and software, and a recording studio for digital media creation and lecture recording. These resources and services are encompassed in three labs: The Studio, 3D Print Lab, & VR Lab. Each of these labs are managed by library staff in order to assist students, faculty & staff, as well as keep all hardware & software up-to-date.

IDEA Labs can assist you with:

• 3D scanning and printing
• Utilizing and evaluating virtual reality experiences with the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift headsets.
• Recording and editing audio-visual content in a sound-dampened studio.
• Evaluating new technology-enhanced services and resources to better serve our students, faculty & staff.
