Study Areas in the Alvin Sherman Library

Study rooms are available at the Alvin Sherman Library for individuals and groups of 2-10 people.

Individual and Quiet Study

While individual study is available throughout the library, the third and fourth floor are "quiet" floors. 

Tips for quiet study:

  • Take phone calls in designated cell phone zones.
  • Review our Electronic Devices Policy here.

Third Floor

The third floor is furnished with tables, chairs, and individual study carrels for quiet study. Group study is not permitted in this area.

The fourth floor provides additional tables, chairs, and individual study carrels for quiet study. Group study is not permitted in this area.
