Printing

For information on how to print documents, please click the link below.

The Pay-for-Print allocation consists of a $75 to be used only for printing or photocopying purposes across all NSU campuses. The allocation runs from July 1st of each year through June 30th of the next fiscal year. Each year on June 30th, any remaining Pay-for-Print balance not yet used will be forfeited. On July 1st of each year, all registered NSU students (non-tuition waiver) will receive a new allocation of $75.

You can now print from your smartphone or laptop with the Mobility Printing app.  Read the guides below to set up and use the app.

Scanning Station

An all-in-one Knowledge Information Center (KIC) walk up scanning station and copy center is available for us in the library.  This scanning station allows you to scan books right up to the edge without damaging them and to have access to a high end scanning option for papers and reports.  You can scan directly to USB drive, email, upload to cloud storage, upload using QR Code, or print to the printer in the library using your $75 Shark Funds allowance using the SharkPrint system.

You have the option to save your scan in one of the following formats:

  • Searchable PDF
  • Quick PDF
  • JPEG
  • PNG
  • Rich Text
  • Audio
