MATH 3400

- American Mathematical SocietyA professional society since 1888, the AMS advances research and connecst the diverse global mathematical community through publications, meetings and conferences, MathSciNet, professional services, advocacy, and awareness programs.
- arXiv.org - MathematicsThe arXiv preprint server is a leading resource of physics information. This section of Mathematics articles contains some of the latest research in mathematical topics. It is currently maintained at Cornell University.
- EqWorld: The World of Mathematical Equations - Ordinary Differential EquationsThe international scientific-educational website EqWorld presents extensive information on solutions to various classes of ordinary differential, partial differential, integral, functional, and other mathematical equations. It also outlines some methods for solving equations, includes interesting articles, gives links to mathematical websites and software packages, lists useful handbooks and monographs, and refers to scientific publishers, journals, etc. The website includes a dynamic section Equation Archive which allows authors to quickly publish their equations (differential, integral, and other) and also exact solutions, first integrals, and transformations. The EqWorld website is intended for researchers, university teachers, engineers, and students all over the world. It contains about 2000 webpages and is visited by over 3000 users a day (coming from 200 countries worldwide). All resources presented on this site are free to its users.
- European Mathematical Information ServiceThe European Mathematical Information Service (EMIS) was founded in 1995 as the central portal for electronic math resources in Europe. Since then, with the support of the European Mathematical Society and many publishers, FIZ Karlsruhe has developed the largest open access electronic library in mathematics ELibM as the core of EMIS, as well as many more useful resources.
- International Linear Algebra SocietyILAS - The International Linear Algebra Society - was founded in 1989 as the successor to the International Matrix Group which was established in 1987. The general goal of ILAS is to encourage activities in linear algebra. ILAS aims to encourage and support existing groups and individuals active in organizing meetings and publications in all aspects of linear algebra. We have no intention of supplanting or competing with existing organizations, our entire purpose is international co-ordination, to assist the development of linear algebra. We may add new activities where and when desirable. We welcome activities in all applications of linear algebra and we desire a proper share for theoretical matrix analysis and abstract linear algebra.
- Khan Academy - Differential EquationsKhan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom.
- Mathematical Association of AmericaThe Mathematical Association of America is the world’s largest community of mathematicians, students, and enthusiasts. We further the understanding of our world through mathematics because mathematics drives society and shapes our lives. The mission of the MAA is to advance the understanding of mathematics and its impact on our world.
- Math Insight - An Introduction to Ordinary Differential EquationsThe Math Insight web site contains both narrative pages and interactive applets focusing on the concepts underlying a few topics in mathematics. It has the largest coverage of multivariable calculus, as its origins are from the CSE Multivariable Calculus and Vector Analysis course at the University of Minnesota. Although no effort has been made to turn this into a comprehensive source of information on any topic, the goal is to provide some depth on selected topics, so readers can explore mathematical concepts at different levels, depending on their preparation or interest.
- Paul's Online Notes - Differential EquationsFree online math tutorials and notes from a mathematics professor at Lamar University.
- WolframAlphaWolframAlpha is an online calculator that works to accept completely free-form input, and to serve as a knowledge engine that generates powerful results and presents them with maximum clarity.
- Wolfram MathWorldMathWorld is the web's most extensive mathematical resource, provided as a free service to the world's mathematics and internet communities as part of a commitment to education and educational outreach by Wolfram Research, makers of Mathematica.
