A guide to the Genealogy resources at the Alvin Sherman Library

Databases

The Alvin Sherman Library provides access to several important genealogy databases that are essential for genealogical research. These databases are accessible through computers in the library, and, in some cases, can be accessed remotely from home. To access the databases use your NSU Sharklink account or, if you are a public users, your last name and the number on the back of your Alvin Sherman Library card.

Database Access

You can use all databases when you come into the library and log in with your library card.

Some databases can also be used from home.  For each database, look for the house icon with the word "Broward" to know if it can be used without having to come to the library.
