Finding Tests and Instruments

Proquest Dissertations and Theses Global

Using Dissertations to find tests:

Search for related topic.
Go to Table of Contents for the Methodology chapter (usually chapter 3).  This chapter will indicate if the researcher created the questions or used someone else’s questions. If the researcher used someone else’s, check the references and track down the source.
Appendices also helpful to find who to contact for permissions.
Caveat—always read whether the research thinks the instrument actually worked.

MARPs (Major Applied Research Projects), Practicums, and Applied Dissertations

The NSU MARPs (Major Applied Research Projects), Practicums & Applied Dissertation database, along with its contents, is available only to current NSU students, faculty and staff.  This database is no longer adding new dissertations.  Use this database to find dissertations prior to 2023.  All database content is being migrated over to NSUWorks and all dissertations submitted after 2023 can be found there.

To locate examples of dissertations by your dissertation chair, use the advanced search option and change the drop-down menu to Chair Last Name.
