Step 8: Sync your Library to EndNote Online

It is highly recommended that you use EndNote Online to store a back-up of your EndNote library.

By synchronizing your EndNote 20 library with your Online account your references will be backed up every time you open or close your library, and you will be able to access them anywhere you have internet access.

• Share EndNote groups and libraries with other EndNote users

Once you've configured your EndNote 20 desktop library to sync with your online library, you can activate the sync process and check on its status:

1. Click on Sync Status on the top left-hand side of the screen in EndNote Desktop  The sync stats of your library will be displayed.
2. Click on Sync Now in the top right-hand side of the screen, to initiate a refreshed sync status.
