Step 1: Compatibility with Word Processor Software

EndNote 21 Compatibility and System Requirements

Compatibility: Check your computer systems to see if they are ready to install EndNote.

Note: If you have a Chromebook you will only be able to use the EndNote Online (Basic) account.

If your computer is ready, and you have memory available on the machine, install EndNote from NSU (see step 2a [Windows] or 2b [Mac] on this guide) and then update the software.

You must have administrative rights on the computer to install software and update it.

Additional updates exist for new styles, filters, paper templates, etc.
